A Sad Look Back At Grossinger’s Catskill Resort Hotel

Enjoying the resort hotels of today is a grand thing. Resort hotels have always been home to the finer things in life. Some are located on the beach and some are located in the mountains, but all of them cater to the more descriminate traveler. But what happens to these resorts when they fall out of favor?

Lets take a look at Grossinger’s Catskill Resort Hotel. During the 1950s and 60s, Grossinger’s Resort was one of the more popular resorts in the area. Located near Liberty, New York in the Catskill Mountains, Grossinger’s like many of the Borscht Belt resorts, has fallen into a state of disrepair due to people heading for other diversions. But, what does the transition look like?
